Indian Diet Plan for a Lean Body
My Experience With Building a Lean Body
Hi, I’m Shadab, and in this blog I want to share my personal experience about building a lean body with simple Indian foods. Most people think getting lean means eating expensive meals or following strict foreign diet plans.
But honestly, I learned that consistency with simple home food works much better. My Biggest Mistakes in the BeginningWhen I first started my fitness journey, I made many mistakes.
I skipped meals, avoided carbs completely, and tried random diets from the internet. I felt weak, tired, and couldn’t stay consistent.
After some time, I understood that a lean body is not about starving yourself. It is about eating balanced meals, staying active, and being patient.

My Simple Indian Diet Plan
Morning Routine usually start my day with warm water and sometimes black coffee. This helps me feel fresh and active in the morning.
- Breakfast Options For breakfast, prefer :

Oats
Eggs
Poha
Upma
Peanut butter with brown bread
These foods give me energy without making me feel too heavy.
2. Lunch Routine For lunch, I keep it balanced with:

Roti or rice
Dal
Vegetables
Protein sources like chicken, paneer, eggs, or soy chunksI
used to avoid rice completely, but later I realized portion control matters more than removing foods.
3. Evening Snacks

In the evening, I keep light snacks like:
Fruits
Makhana
Roasted chana
Protein shake
after workoutsEarlier, I used to eat chips and sugary snacks, which slowed my progress.
4. Dinner Routine

Dinner is usually simple and lighter than lunch.
I eat roti with vegetables and protein.Sometimes I choose salad with grilled chicken or paneer. I also try not to eat very late at night.
What Helped Me Get Lean Faster
Drinking More Water One thing that changed everything for me was drinking more water daily. Staying hydrated improved my energy and workouts.
Staying Consistent
You do not need a perfect diet every single day. Even following a healthy routine most of the time can give great results.
My Advice for Beginners
Do Not Follow Extreme Diets
My biggest advice for anyone trying to get lean is this: do not copy extreme diets from social media. Eat clean homemade food, focus on protein, control junk food, sleep properly, and trust the process.
Focus on Long Term Results
A lean body takes time, but once you stay disciplined, the results will come. This is the exact mindset and routine that helped me improve my body and feel healthier without making fitness complicated.
